A Brief History of Our Origin
The OCC is a grassroots private group of Conservatives here in Oconee County, South Carolina, that organized in April of 2021. The Facebook Group grew from a few people to over 2700 people in less than three weeks. Since our origination, we have helped Conservatives in Oconee County have a voice in county governance as a group instead of just as fractured individuals. We are essentially the "Freedom Caucus" wing of the Oconee County Republican Party (OCRP). Unlike the OCRP, which must remain a "neutral party" for all Republicans, the OCC is a Non-profit Political Action Committee which can advocate for true Conservative values and candidates.

OCC Specific Accomplishments
- In early 2021, stopped two zoning ordinances - one for additional building and design standards on all county major highway corridors, and another for sign standards on lake-related highway corridors. - In late 2022, stopped a zoning ordinance for buffering and screening for new businesses that would have been enacted simply for aesthetics.

- Working with other Grass Roots Conservative Movements in Greenville County, Horry County, Pickens County, and Anderson County, among others, to reform the SCGOP and move it back to the right and give it back to the people rather than the Establishment.
- Instrumental in promoting the SC House Bill #1 in 2023 to stop Fentanyl distribution by invoking harsher penalties to distributors whose actions result in Fentanyl-related deaths.
